Veneers are a minimally invasive cosmetic dental treatment used to improve the overall aesthetics of your smile. They are an ideal solution if you want a straighter, whiter, gap-free smile.
There are two types of dental veneers, porcelain and composite with each having their pros and cons.
Porcelain veneers are long-lasting teeth that are hand-crafted to look just like natural teeth by our technicians. These are usually fitted over 2-3 separate appointments and require removal of a small amount of enamel from your existing teeth.
Composite veneers can be “fitted” in one appointment. Layers of composite material are artistically applied and sculpted around your existing teeth by our dentists to achieve the ideal colour, shape and texture of each tooth. Composite veneers are usually fitted in one appointment instead of 2-3, they are cheaper but not as durable as porcelain veneers. The main benefit of composite veneers is that there is no removal of your natural tooth enamel.
Veneers are a perfect solution for fixing:
Discoloured, Chipped or broken teeth
Gaps between teeth
Worn and damaged teeth
Misaligned or irregularly shaped teeth
